Conjunctivitis (Pink Eye):

Conjunctivitis is an inflammation or infection of the outer membrane of the eyeball and the inner eyelid. Symptoms include:

Eye redness
Itchiness
A gritty feeling in the eye
Discharge that can form a crust
Potential eye pain with severe cases
Light sensitivity
Possible blurred vision

If left untreated, severe forms of conjunctivitis can cause eye pain, light sensitivity, and blurred vision, and it may even progress into serious eye conditions affecting vision, such as corneal ulcers.

Pingueculitis:

This is an inflammation of a pinguecula, a yellowish, slightly raised lesion that forms on the conjunctiva near the cornea, usually from exposure to UV light, wind, dust, or dryness. Symptoms include:

Redness
Swelling
A sensation of having something in the eye
Persistent discomfort with chronic cases

Left untreated, it can cause discomfort, persistent inflammation, and in rare cases, the pinguecula can grow onto the cornea (forming a pterygium), which can cause visual impairment if it encroaches on the central visual axis.

Hordeolum (Stye):

A stye is a red, painful lump near the edge of the eyelid that looks like a boil or a pimple, often filled with pus. It’s caused by an infection in the oil glands of the eyelid. Symptoms include:

Red, painful lump near the edge of the eyelid
Swelling of the eyelid
Possible blurred vision due to the lump
Sometimes filled with pus

While a stye usually doesn’t cause serious problems, if left untreated, it can lead to a more severe and generalized infection such as cellulitis, or a chalazion, which is a lump inside the eyelid that may require excision that can press on the eye and distort vision.
